Similoluwa Adewale

Simi obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, in 2014 and was subsequently called to the Nigerian bar in 2015. She started her legal career in Gold-Rush Partners in 2016 before becoming the legal officer and head of litigations of Human and Environmental Development Agenda (HEDA Resource Centre) based in Ikeja, Lagos State in 2017. She resigned her appointment in HEDA Resource Centre in 2019 to join Adewale and Adewale & Co. She has since been a versatile, good and effective member of our legal team with result-oriented ability and skill.

Her areas of expertise include: Criminal law, International human rights law and development law. She is an asset to the Chambers with a determined, resilient ‘can do’ attitude to work coupled with fine professional skills as an advocate. She is also an alternative dispute resolution specialist (ADR). She is a member of African Women Lawyers Association (AWLA).
